Start in Unterf\u00f6hring as a rugby youth coach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unterf\u00f6hring,\nOct. 2019.<\/em> In the north of Munich, the Rugby Club Unterf\u00f6hring\n(RCU) has grown rapidly since its founding in 2012: from 13 to 234 members in\njust seven years. Today, there are about 100 children and teenagers with trainings\nup to twice a week at the rugby field at Etzweg in Unterf\u00f6hring. For them, RCU\nneeds up to four coaches, starting as soon as possible. Youth coaches: helping to shape tomorrow’s success\ntoday<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\ntwo trainings per week (Tuesday and Thursday, 6 pm) and some school workgroups\nin Unterf\u00f6hring, RCU trainers will receive a trainer’s allowance. For more\nintense engagement, becoming a so-called \u201cmini jobber\u201d may be an option, the\nclub is happy to discuss. The club will actively support everybody who needs to\nobtain or extend a rugby coaching license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Working\nwith the youngster is an important thing for the club as Steve points out. It guarantees\ngrowth and further success in the future: “What we recognize and nurture\nin the children and teenager teams will later help us expand our adult teams.\nBecause one thing is clear: the 2nd German league should not be the end! “<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a “young club” already very successful<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not\nonly the number of members, also the successful youth work and sporting\nsuccesses across all age groups are more than impressive. Especially when you\nconsider that there have been successful rugby clubs for decades in cities like\nHeidelberg, Frankfurt or Berlin!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nthe third year in a row, RCU men’s team now plays in the 2nd German league. The\nyouth teams U8 to U14 have secured league positions regularly in Bavaria as either\nBavarian champions or runners-up for several years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About the Rugby Club Unterf\u00f6hring RCU<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Founded\nin 2012 with 3 children and 13 men, today 165 active athletes between the ages\nof 5 and 49 belong to the club. In keeping with the tradition of international\ntop-level rugby, everyone at RCU contributes to the values of fair play,\nrespect, team spirit, discipline and fun in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Players\nand their families from four continents – from all over Europe, Argentina,\nAustralia to New Zealand and South Africa – are enthusiastically and\npassionately involved in the Unterf\u00f6hring rugby community. They always give a\nwarm welcome to all “newbies”, players and coaches. No matter in which\nlanguage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
